Successful completion of this exam will earn you a Associate VantageCloud Lake 2.0 certification with a digital badge.
RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE
No Advanced SQL Engine hands-on experience is expected.
DURATION
This exam allows 75 minutes for answering exam questions whether you are testing in a Pearson Vue test center or with a remote proctor.
PREREQUISITES
This exam does not have any prerequisites.

GENERAL CONCEPTS - 18%
Candidates should have an understanding of relational concepts, the characteristics of a relational database and dimensional model, an understanding of the use cases for deploying relational and dimensional models, as well as identifying ClearScape Analytics (TM) capabilities in VantageCloud Lake
VANTAGECLOUD LAKE ARCHITECTURE & COMPONENTS – 36%
Candidates should understand the flow of data from source to consumption, identify the features and benefits, and the purpose of the logical components of the VantageCloud Lake, the features and benefits and the definitions of objects in the VantageCloud Lake, be able to identify space and storage options, be able to identify the components of a table definition and the purpose of workload management.
SECURITY AND PRIVACY – 11%
Candidates should be able to identify privacy and security mechanisms, features for managing user privileges, and functions and types of user authentication.
DATA ARCHITECTURES – 13%
Candidates should identify high-level concepts and major components of the data lake architecture, as well as understand use cases, flow data, and reasons for deploying a data lake architecture. Identify reasons using AI.
DATA DISTRIBUTION AND ACCESS – 11%
Candidates should be able to identify use cases of advanced indexes, the impact the Primary Index has on data distribution, the differences between Primary Index and Primary Key, the types, levels and functionality of locking and the purpose and components of the access layer as well as use cases of semi-structured data.
TERADATA TOOLS AND UTILITIES – 11%
Candidates must be able to identify the common data integration techniques, , the features and functions to administer and monitor VantageCloud Lake, access methods for VantageCloud Lake and the features and functions to management and monitor analytic workflow.
